The Infinite Potential Program, utilizing Cortical Integrative Therapy (CIT®), is dedicated to the treatment and education of individuals with neurologically based conditions. We employ cutting edge technology and therapeutic modalities. This brain-based model of health addresses a wide spectrum of disorders and conditions through non-pharmacological, non-surgical interventions. We offer individualized rehabilitation programs specifically designed to address the individual needs of our clients. The goal of our program is to optimize their physical, cognitive, behavioral and emotional well-being.

Our research has focused primarily on the use and effectiveness of CIT® with school-aged students diagnosed with Attention Deficit disorders and Learning Disabilities. Dr. Pedro and his research team completed the Kuss Study at a public school in Massachusetts. Their work was incorporated into the 2003 Fall River, Massachusetts Strategic Improvement Plan. The Kuss Study was a historic first and was submitted to the Massachusetts Department of Education for further implementation. For more information, see Case Studies.

In 2004, the Infinite Potential Program received a legislative grant from the State of Rhode Island to fund a pilot program, which utilized Cortical Integrative Therapy. The grant provided for treatment of ten children of Rhode Island families. The results of the pilot are impressive (see 2005 Program Results). Again for the 2005-2006 fiscal year we received a grant from the Rhode Island Department of Education, which was used to treat 12 Rhode Island children. These children exhibited a broad range of dysfunction including speech and language pathology, Landau Kleffner Syndrome, movement and gait disorders, ataxia, apraxia, ocular motor dysfunction as well as ADD/HD. Again the effectiveness of CITŪ was amply demonstrated.

In July of 2005, a case study on one of our patients treated with Cortical Integrative Therapy was published in the International Journal of Neuroscience.

We continue to attract talented providers to staff who will contribute to our clinical and research efforts and help to expand available services.
